Experience in your hands

Your property deserves skilled hands and clear accountability.

Mlayedwa Group brings experienced tradespeople together under one managed service. Every project is monitored from planning through completion so quality, safety and communication never become afterthoughts.

Small cracks, leaks and overlooked maintenance can become expensive structural problems. We assess the property, explain the priorities and provide a clear path forward—then complete the approved work with constant progress feedback.

A practical promise: no hidden shortcuts, no careless handovers, and no silence while work is underway.

Ongoing training, practical experience and continual refinement keep the team ready for new challenges across homes, schools, churches, hospitality and commercial property.

Our philosophy

Honesty.

We use quality materials, own our mistakes and resolve problems quickly. Long-term strength matters more than a short-term shortcut.

A clearer start

Good questions. Practical answers.

Planning construction or maintenance in South Africa? Start here.

01Do I need an account to request work?

No. Public enquiries do not require an account. Choose a service and provide your contact details, location and requirements.

02What should I include in my enquiry?

Describe the problem, the outcome you want, the property type and your preferred timing. Mention occupied areas, access restrictions and other trades involved. Do not include identity numbers or payment details.

03Does sending an enquiry confirm a booking or price?

No. An enquiry starts a conversation. Scope, assessment arrangements, price and dates need to be agreed before work is booked.

04Can several trades be included in one request?

Choose the service closest to your main requirement, then list the other work in the details. Ask the team to confirm which trades can be included in the proposed scope.

05Do alterations need municipal approval?

Check the proposed work with your local municipality's building-control office before starting. Requirements depend on the work and local rules; do not assume that an alteration is exempt.

06How can I check a home builder's registration?

Use the NHBRC's official verification service and ask about registration and enrolment requirements for your particular home-building project. A company registration number alone does not verify these requirements.

07When should electrical compliance be discussed?

Raise certification needs when agreeing the electrical scope. A certificate requires the appropriate inspection and testing by a competent, legally registered electrical contractor; it is not a substitute for those checks.

08What should a written quotation clarify?

Ask for the work included, exclusions, materials, labour, applicable VAT, payment stages, proposed dates and how changes will be authorised. Clarify assessment charges before arranging a visit.

09How should we prepare an occupied property?

Discuss working hours, access, parking, children, pets and protection of furniture. Agree any water or power interruptions and a plan for keeping occupied areas separate from the work.

10What should happen at handover?

Review the completed scope together, record outstanding items and request relevant care instructions and agreed certificates. Confirm the written warranty terms and the contact for follow-up concerns.
